The Hong Kong Insurance Law Association (HILA) has created this Privacy Policy in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy and compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) and associated amendments.
HILA reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any updates will be available on HILA’s Website (www.hila.com.hk) so that you are always aware of the sort of information collected, how the information may be used, and under what circumstances it may be disclosed to HILA. If at any time HILA is required by law to release information about you or your organisation, HILA must cooperate fully.
What sort of information does HILA collect?
HILA collects personal information about you when:
- you apply to become a member of HILA
- you register to attend an event
- you otherwise contact to do business with HILA

If you do not provide the information required, you may not be able to become a member or you may not be able to receive the information or service you requested by the method you have request. This includes changing your contact details for new employment. |
